Rachel Rogers, MD FAAP

Dr. Rachel Rogers earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University before continuing her education at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She completed her pediatric residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. After gaining valuable experience in private practice in Little Rock, Dr. Rogers relocated to Marion to be closer to her family. In 2003, she founded MountainView Pediatrics and has been dedicated to serving families in Southwest Virginia ever since. Active in her church, Dr. Rogers enjoys a lively household with her husband, Dr. Anthony Clary, and their blended family of six children, ensuring there’s never a dull moment!

Erin Brickley, DO FAAP

Dr. Erin Brickley earned her Bachelor’s degree from Truman State University before attending Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She then relocated to Tennessee to complete her pediatric residency at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine. After moving to Southwest Virginia, Dr. Brickley chose to dedicate her career to the local families. She joined MountainView Pediatrics in July 2017 and is passionate about promoting advocacy and preventive healthcare within the practice. Originally from Missouri, she enjoys singing, reading, and traveling to visit family in her free time.

Jan Marie G. Thompson, CPNP

Jan Marie G. Thompson is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has been a valued member of MountainView Pediatrics since 2009. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2000, followed by a Master’s degree in the Nurse Practitioner Program from Vanderbilt University. After spending over seven years in two pediatric practices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Jan Marie found her home in Marion, Virginia. She truly appreciates the diverse seasons here, a refreshing change from the extreme heat of Texas. Actively involved in her local church, Jan Marie enjoys outdoor activities and traveling in her free time.

Taylor Marvin PA-C

Taylor Marvin is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined MountainView Pediatrics in September 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Emory & Henry College before returning to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Emory & Henry School of Health Sciences. Taylor is married to her college sweetheart and currently resides in her hometown of Abingdon, VA. She is deeply committed to giving back to her community and making a positive impact on future generations. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys participating in various sports, spending time with her goldendoodle, and relaxing by the lake.

Sarah Jessee PA-C

Sarah Jessee, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined MountainView Pediatrics in September 2024. A native of Bristol, VA, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia. She then returned to the region to complete her Master’s degree in Public Health at East Tennessee State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory & Henry University. Sarah is dedicated to serving her local community and, in her free time, enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and their three dogs, as well as quality moments with family.

Amanda Fleenor, PA-C

Amanda is a highly experienced Physician Assistant with a decade of expertise in family medicine and PA education. In 2020, she was recognized as the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants’ PA of the Year, honoring her exceptional contributions to the profession. As a long-time resident and mother of two, Amanda is deeply connected to the community and understands the rewards and challenges of raising children. She is thrilled to join Mountain View Pediatrics, where she is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of children through compassionate, patient-focused care and building meaningful, lasting relationships with patients and their families.

R. Christopher Qualls, Ph.D

Dr. R. Christopher Qualls is a Professor of Psychology at Emory & Henry College and a Clinical Psychologist affiliated with Mount Rogers Community Services Board, Mountain View Pediatrics, and Highlands Pediatrics in Abingdon, Virginia. He is a former President of the Southeastern Psychological Association. Dr. Qualls earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Memphis, along with an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. He holds a B.A. from Lipscomb University and completed his predoctoral internship at the Medical College of Georgia. Previously, he served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Emory & Henry College and as Clinical Director at Agape in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Qualls is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating psychological disorders in children and adolescents.
